Why does everyone seem to ask questions about religion?

Maybe because this is the Religious and Spiritual section perhaps?

It's on the home page because the home page displays newer questions. There seems to be huge traffic comming from R&S.
 
Because all people, believers and non-believers, can sense we are nearing the end, whether they want to admit it or not. As you see more and more bad things start happening around us, you'll see more religious questions being asked here. People are going to want to know what hold their future. And only the bible can give them the answers.

As to the home page, this is one of the more active sections in Yahoo! Answers and so random selection from all sections will draw a significantly higher number of questions from the more active sections.

Some sections are so-o-o-o slo-o-o-w that it isn't funny.
 
This is a question and answer forum on religion and spirituality. Hence it is not surprising to see so many questions related to religion.
 
Welcome to the Religion and Spirituality Section. You wouldn't talk about botany in the Cats section, would you?
