I know this doesn't apply to all religious people, the ones I know are generally supportive, but the ones I've met recently haven't exactly been tolerant to my...difference. I am bisexual, 17 years old, I am a virgin, I have had one boyfriend and two girlfriends, one of whom I am still with. To clarify, I do believe in God, I was raised in a Christian household; please don't attack me for my orientation, I've come to terms with it, that isn't my question. I was at a barbecue at her parent's house on Sunday, her entire family was there pretty much, including her uber religious grandma. She somehow found out I was bisexual, I figure her brother who despises me brought it up. There was no end to it from there; she talked to me about how I should ask a priest to perform a ritual on me to remove my "curse" or something, she practically tried to excorsize me right there. I tried to be respectful and tell her that it doesn't bother me, but she wouldn't leave me alone. After that, I couldn't take it anymore and just left, now my girlfriend's mad at me because of it. I suppose, in addition to my original question, do you think I reacted rudely? Do you think I am the one at fault here?
