Why do people judge without knowledge about what they talk about?!!?

I wonder why most people have the inclination to judge other people just because they don't believe in the same thing? To make it clearer, why do Christians have lots of stereotypes about Muslims when they never read the Quran? in order to decide whether this food is tasty or not, should u try it or should u just listen to how other people felt it taste?!!! When are we gonna get over stereotyping the Other who lives outside the culture/ religious/linguistic/colour bourders?

All most of us Americans hear about Muslims is negative.
I have read quite a bit, and seen a lot of the results of Muslim doctrine, and I find it a religion that is totally contrary to God Almighty.
And His name is not allah.

Christians are taught by their bibles to be ignorant and rude to others who simply disagree with their beliefs ....but everyone should be considerate of others, regardless the faith , religion etc...
