People of his time were oppressed and dominated by cruel and wicked Romans,
but he did not challenge them. He lived a simple life like ordinary people, in order
to identify himself with masses and keept a distance from the empire. But it was
only a negative measure.
Muhammad on the other hand not only lived a simple life like ordinary people,
but he also challenged the depots of his time, like Roman and Irani Kings and
sent his ambassadors to Egypt, Yeman and Ethopia. He offered an alternative
system of democratic governance where wealth is not allowed to accumulate
in a few hands and is made to flow towards downtrodden ?
Do you think the responsibility of a prophet is only for the life in the heaven
leaving this world wide open for the followers of satan?
