i was reading through the Dubai customs, and in the banned items list, it included cooked and homemade food
why is it banned?..its not something that would hurt anyone, its obviously for personal use as the person bringing it is usually an expat who is bringin with him a taste from home which obviously mom have cooked....i was surprised to see that they are banned items, mind you, i have brought food with me from back home which was well packed in my luggage and nobody said anything in customs.
if ever they open my luggage and find them...will they take them away ?
