We just want to get out to see the snow, it's November 24th, what's the closest place that someone might recommend just to do some sight seeing, maybe a little snow shoeing, or just sit by a lake in the snow? Preferably somewhere reachable by public transportation from Paris.

It usually doesn't snow enough in Paris for snow to stay on the ground. You should check the weather forecast to see if there is snow at all. If there is, any park in Paris will be good, like Tuileries, Luxembourg or Champs de Mars. If you want to be sure to see snow, you must go to the mountains.

However, I think you are thai and have never seen snow before, so I would advise you not to go too far and not to sit in the snow, since your shoes and your clothes will get wet and very cold, which is very uncomfortable.

Snow is unusual in Paris and for the moment there's really no possibility to see it here as the weather is not even cold, between 10C and 12C.

The only place that comes to my mind where you'd certainly see the snow is in Zermatt, Switzerland, 7 hours train from Paris, one of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen.
