"UFC fighters can beat any professional boxer in the ring" is a good example of UFC fans talking nonsense. These fighters cannot even take a punch, just watch your former champion, Tim Sylvia, against Fedor and you will see what I am talking about. Chuck Liddell proves this also. He doesn't even hit hard as a professional boxer and wouldn't make it in boxing because if he could, he would be smart enough to join it. Why do you think Dana White didn't let Anderson Silva fight Roy Jones Jr.? It doesn't even take that much to defeat a UFC fighter. You can take a WWE wrestler, train him a little, put him in a cage against, let's say, Heath Herring and the WWE guy would win. It was already done. Brock Lesnar dominated 3 rounds... in his third mma fight, but Heath Herring fought all over the world with 28 wins? LOL.What is your excuse this time, UFC fans? You always come up with lame ones. MMA takes no talent. The skills demonstrated by UFC in every single fighting discipline is light years behind from the ones who are experts in those disciplines. Their boxing skills- way behind prof. boxing, so behind that you can train a WWE wrestler like Brock Lesnar, to hit a legendary fighter like Heath Herring and cause him to do a backflip, Kickboxing- also behind, even Andre Arloski wouldn't survive that, Mua Thai- Anderson Silva is not the best mua thai fighter people, let's be realistic, he would be lucky to make it as a class "B" mua thai fighter. The list goes on and on and the conclusion is this- you can basically train anyone to become a UFC fighter because superior fighting skils is required in any discipline. Just get the proper training and devote sufficient time and YOU can have the potential to become a UFC fighter. Who knows, maybe you will defeat a man with 30 wins in your first mma fight. And please let's stop saying that professional boxers would lose against MMA fighters, that's a fairy tale. Prof. boxers are required to register their hands as lethal weapons in some states. That's how dangerous and deadly they are. Be glad that Dana White didn't let Anderson Silva fight Roy Jones Jr. because he would of lost and embarrased Silva and mma fans just like you. Oh, and Kimbo Slice and the rest of these lousy no talent boxers are not considered real boxers, actualy they wouldn't even make it in amatuer boxing. Wake up and smell the coffee.
"Superior skills in a discipline is NOT required to become a UFC fighter"
- no special talent is needed, hell, YOU can be a UFC fighter if you train right.

yeah whatever and thats why boxing is a DEAD sport, what stars are left in boxing? NONE! whats the next big boxing ppv? NONE! thats why Dana White told your best fighter to step in the octagon and he would get an immediate title shot and mayweather refused cuz he knew he would get choked out in 1 minute. boxing is not fighting, boxing is just one aspect of fighting. MMA is real fighting. PLEASE go on youtube and put UFC vs boxing and there is a debate where Joe Rogan debates with some boxing analyst and crushes him in every arguement, proving that MMA is the superior sport

First of all, the one making it a lot bigger that it is is u hc boxers fans that cant accept some competition. Second, UFC isnt a sport... is a Promotion brand of MMA! In MMA u got to mix it up to win. In box u only got to punch hard and dont get hit. In boxing there is a lot of rules. In MMA are some neccesary rules. In MMA u win by tapout, ko, ref stoppage or decision. Whats the big difference? That u dont know that in MMA there are Black belt Brazilian Jiujitsu Fighter mixing it up with boxing, wrestling etc. And check on Youtube some videos of Anderson Silva fighting in Muay Thai and rethink ur words. Anyways if u dont like the sport dont sweat it, just dont watch it and stop making comments about it
