I know there are some expensive cameras that take good picutres but I'm new to photography. All I have ever owned are the simply handy digital cameras that fit in yoru pocket. I really like results I see on the high end cameras like the Canon 5D and 7D.
One thing in particular is that my car has LED angel eyes (halos) and I can never get a picture that shows the lights AND the car in good detail. If I focus on the lights everything else is too dark to see. If I focus on the car there is no distintion in the angel eys. The whole headlight looks lit up. Is there any camera, camera settings, techniques, or editing to remedy this? I know simple brightness contrast and midtone tweaking don't work. I've also tried playing with ISO and shutter speed but I can never seem to get it right. Any help would be appreciated.
