What man made chemicals are in cigarettes, cigars and smokeless tobacco products?

I heard or read that there are a lot of toxic stuff in tobacco products. I read that it is not just pure tobacco. I know poison has to be prayed on the tobacco plants to keep worms from eating the leaves.
What else is in a cigarette or snuff, pr chewing tobacco or cigars?
