About 2 weeks ago I noticed a small bump on my dogs ear. I thought maybe it was just a scab from one of my cats slapping the dog. Since then it has grown to a larger lump. It has turned bright red and the skin is very tight. It is painful I am assuming, since the dog pulls his head away when I try to touch it. My dog is half yellow lab and half great pyr. and will be 2 years old on May 4th. He has had skin problems in the past but we found out it was an allergic reaction and with a change to more expensive dog food we have had no more problems. I am clearly going to most liklely have to set up a vet appointment but I am 7 months pregnant and not working and also have a four year old so maybe if anyone has seen this before and knows what it is, maybe it could save me a vet trip, or at least for a little while. I am going to also post a pic of the lump. It is on the inside of his ear towards the tip of the ear. Thank You
