You are presented with 3 bottles. 2 bottles are poison, the other one contains water. You may ask the shopkeeper one yes-or-no question to determine precisely (so no 50-50) which bottle has the water.

The best answer I could think of is:

Suppose I picked bottle A and B.Let's examine the question "Are bottle A and B both not the water ?" If the answer to said question is yes, then say yes immediately. Otherwise, is bottle B the water ?

Now you might say my answer above is not really a question, but my arguement would be that it is indeed a question since it is a "linguistic expression for information". Personally I don't really feel my answer is satifying so I ask if there is a better answer to this riddle if at all possible ?
