I am looking for a mid-size truck to haul a two horse trailer. I'd like to get the smallest truck that will do the job, because I don't like driving a huge vehicle. I'm probably looking at used. Does anyone have recommendations of make and model that might be a good choice to look in to?
Also, I have a 16hh standardbred gelding, probably around 1000lbs, though I would like the capacity to haul two horses. I have not bought a trailer yet (getting the truck first) but I'm looking at just a simple 2-horse slant without too many bells and whistles.
