im turning ten in may but im 9 right now.
Long ago, dragons ruled our land. They were the top predators strong and mighty the symbol of bravery and strength. Each dragon special in its very own way, they lived in harmony like this, until Desmond Tiny fell from the sky in a dark ball of blue and purple. He raised hell on earth, he was neither alive nor dead, and he was stuck in between.
Desmond Tiny believed that a dragon was a death omen, he wiped them all of land with swirling flames of blue and purple. Very few dragons managed to escape but their hearts were filled with hatred for humans they would never be the same again. They flew for millions of years until one day a female found an egg. She cherished the egg until it was time for it to hatch. She left the tribe and flew into a cave were she set it on fire. It soon cracked open and the baby dragon came out. Miraculously enough they were twins a boy and a girl. The mother taught these two how to fly and guard themselves.
One day they landed to drink some water for they had been screeching and roaring for a long time…just for the fun of it. The boy and the girl were both drinking when Desmond Tiny walked up to them. His eyes glinting red purple flames in his hands. The boy and girl flew into the sky at a second’s notice but the mother wasn’t as light so she couldn’t take of as easily.
The flames in Desmond’s hand were thrown out. They hit the mother straight in the chest and Desmond turned into wisps of smoke and left again. The mother was roaring, screaming more like and her children headed towards her. The boy and his sister curled up next to her until finally she was in too much pain…she died. Both children considered this and left on their own. Days passed, followed by weeks then months then years and the two dragons mated only to have a few more children.
This went on and on for millions of years and the dragon’s community grew larger. Finally time came when the dragons raised a war against the humans, led by the two twins they fought and killed many humans. Once they thought they had us cornered Desmond Tiny appeared out of wisps of smoke and said a prophecy that was never meant to be ‘Once a boy decides his true Destiny our world shall meet its end’
Desmond flashed flames on earth until it turned into a practical hell, the dragons couldn’t stay like this so they took off into the atmosphere. Desmond returned all the humans back and repaired the earth, all way well. But the dragons hadn’t been fought out of their spirit they were determined to have another war after the next million years.
Unfortunately for them that was the time the said boy in the said prophecy would be born and he would find his true destiny.
Alkai was on his bed yet again not moving, hardly breathing, this was how he spent mornings. He was wearing a white shirt with buttons down the front and jeans pants, he had his black spiky hair reaching to the left and he had his blue dragon necklace on.
He had found it on his neck one day and decided to keep it. It was a carved dragon out of some amazing blue stone the dragon’s eyes were jewels that glinted in the sun and he had his wings spread out and his mind wide open in victory. He could swear that the eyes changed colour. When he felt angry it was red, when he felt peaceful it was blue and when he felt normal it was golden.
Only normal was especially weird for him. He’s not like all 13 year olds, he thinks about how stupid humans can be a lot and he was especially stubborn. He once had a huge row with one of his teachers about human rights in freedom of speech. He believed in them the teacher didn’t this turned into a yelling fight and he was sent to the principal who he also had a row with until finally the principal kicked him out of the office. He was an extremely intelligent teenager. He aced all his tests without even opening a book or studying and he was known to be the “smart silent kid”
