When you suddenly move from a warm place to a cold place, there's an distinct odor that is rather hard to describe. Have any of you experience this before? What causes this smell? One easy way to replicate this smell is to use a hair dryer to make your nose really warm then quickly stick your face into the freezer and inhale. It might sound kind of silly but its the only way I can think of to replicate this experience. The other option is to wait until winter and stand near a heater until you are really warm then quickly run outside and take a deep breath.
