...street racing performance? Now my grandpa just gave me his 1987 dodge dakota with just under 180,000 miles on it. I am planning on rebuilding the engine soon and would like some ideas on what i can do to it to make it into a street truck. Thats why im asking this question, because if there is something i can do with the engine out and all of it taken apart i wanna know now and not find out when im done.
Right off the bat i want to open up the exhaust with bigger headers, a high flow catalytic converter, and a super 44 flowmaster muffler. I would also like to upgrade the clutch to a stage 1 or 2 depending on if it can handle it or not.
What else can i do that would help it become a "street racing truck"
