I have no instructions on what it can do and can't find it on memorex.com. I am attempting to burn video disks with various freebie programs and getting various results. I'm not sure if it's hardware related or software. It came to mind that I best find out if I am burning at qualities beyond this writers capabilites. I did not log the events so I can't remember which settings I used. I do recall when burning I selected NTSC (as I'm in the US) and I think DVD, not BD. Perhaps I chose a 720p burn? I will need to retest, but wanted to find out my hardware limitations before blaming software. If you can clarify why some results can be played on one player, but not another, or mostly not on either. And when it does play on one player, it comes out with flashing color blocks of purple/yellow which eats up the bottom 8th of the screen? Thank you so kindly.
