What are the different genres of apps for ipad?

Im just new to apple, and so far i have been loving their games, but i need to knw the genres and what to type so i can se for my self i they are good

I mean i love angry birds but i don't know the genre so i cant find any smilar game

I have been lucky with Flight Control i discovered its genre is line draw so when ityped that in google i found lots

I have been lucky with Field Runners, i discovered its genre is tower defense so when i typed tower defense in google i found all the games

But im sure there are awsome games that i havent seen yet, can somebody help me with this
