What are good starter 500cc sport bikes?

Im looking for a starter 500cc sport bike that I could find on craigslist or ebay for cheep(and maybe something that I don't know could pop a wheelie with out popping the clutch haha)

Be sure to check out honda's new cbr500r. You may not find it as cheap as a used ninja 500r (EX500) though. I've seen two Craigslist bikes already and both were complete junk. If you have the money try and get your bike from a dealership unless you have a mechanic friend or something to look at the bikes with you.
