I have been taking OrthoTricyclen for a little over nine months. I was recently put on Bactrim then switched to Ciproflaxin twice a day for a total of 5 days (Sunday-Friday). I was on the antibiotics for the last week of my active pills, and stopped antibiotics right before my placebo pills. I am now 2 days into my first active week of my new pack. I was wondering when I am protected and my birth control is effective again.
