Travelling around the United States?

So, my friend and I are planning a trip to the states when we are both 21. (are you able to rent a car at this age because i've heard you have to be 25...?)

So, where are the best places to go (New York is a must and as are some places in LA but where in particular) we are planning on landing in NY and roadtripping our way across so recommendatons on any and all places inbetween?

it depends on how much time you have for the trip, you both should make a "bucket list" of all the cities & places you want to see, then classify them as either "must see" or " want to see".

NYC, Boston & wash DC are all awesome place with tons to see & do alone. I would start in Boston, then to NYC, then go west on I-80 to Las Vegas, then to LA and southern cali.

From SoCal to Hover dam & grand canyon, then east on I-40 to nashville. Then decide if you have time & money to visit Florida, then up I-95 north to DC and return your rental car to Boston.
