I mean, I am 15 year old boy, and I was walking around and suddenly this 35-45 year old man gave a pat on my back and said you are one handsome boy. What does it mean? It sounds weird I know. I think this man is a contractor in my neighbourhood

It's not wrong that he called you handsome, but I'm assuming because of his age and the fact that he's a man, he made you feel uncomfortable which is perfectly understandable. What does it mean? Basically he's giving you a nice compliment, I don't think he was hitting on you. Unless he was gay?
