I was making a delivery (I work for Jimmy John's) and the winds were going at least was 45 mph. Along with my force of trying to close the car door and the wind(The door is already heavy to begin with), I didn't the chance to take my hand away from the door fast enough, resulting in taking my pinky.
It started bleeding really badly almost immediately, it got on my hand and my shoes. I looked at it later and underneath the nail there was a really black spot. I've had eternal bleeding under the nail before so I thought it would go away but that was in the middle of November and it's almost Christmas and the spot is still black. The only healing process I have had is the gash healed and the skin the with bleeding above the nail has fallen off. Please give me some answers?
should I see a doctor? Is there a doctor that works specifically on nails/hands and situations like this?
