So for my psychological thriller, it's about 80,000 words and I want to take this part out where the main character hires a hit man, because for obvious reason I think it's going too far. It would end up 75,000 words. So should I take it out?
The story is about: a timid actress who becomes deranged as she believes that her husband is trying to kill her.
