I have a 1991 Toyota Extended Cab Truck with an SR 22 engine. It runs great, but the clutch sometimes is falling out of place when I shift it into 3rd gear. The only way it stays is if I shove it HARD into 3rd. I checked the dot liquid level and its above minimum so that's okay. This hasn't happened before, and now its starting to be hard to shift altogether, and i have to shove the stick into its gear, compared to when I could just softly move it into gear. Any ideas?

sounds like the synchronizers in the trany are going out . take it to a trany shop and it's going to have to be taken apart ($$$)

have the slave cylinder checked and your syncro's into 3rd gear might be shot hope this helps
