Shall I buy an iPad Mini or an iPad with retina (4th gen)?

Now, my iPod is OK for internet browsing and stuff, but I need something bigger, my first tablet. I will use it for school work, a few games, internet browsing and email. Shall I buy the powerhouse iPad 4, or the more portable iPad Mini?

P.S. I plan on bringing it outside a few times.

Ipad 4. I bought mine for browsing and school work and it is absolutely perfect! It isn't bulky whatsoever and the size is exactly what I needed.

I've got the iPad mini.. I think you should go for that, because it does the same thing.. It just cost more to get the iPad 4.. & iPad mini is easier to carry
