Sarah Palin told People magazine that she's writing a fitness book, shortly after getting scrutinized by the media for her appearance shopping with her daughter in L.A., in what looked like a complete Hollywood makeover. The announcement has spurred jokes about moose stew, but mostly it just sounds like kind of a sad grab for attention and money from a former politician whose kids are currently getting more air time than she is.
