Everytime I use the earphones, it weems to be working fine. The audio is loud and the voice is normal. However, when i use the extention cord, the audio is limited to really soft and the voice is nearly unheard unless i put the volume up to high. But when i press the button on the handsfree/extention cord, the voice goes louder again.
