I'm thinking about buying a Samsung Galaxy Ace mobile phone on a UK monthly contract. The contract comes with 250mb of data usage which I thought would be sufficient for my light browsing. However, I've read elsewhere that this operating system synchronises with Google a lot at uses a lot of data as a result of this. My question is, why does it sync with Google? Do I need it to do this? Or can I live without it?
