There’s no doubt that driving a Porsche 911 is a status symbol no matter where in the world one may be flossing it, though on the dog-eat-dog streets of Moscow it seems as if just a little extra effort is required. We can’t imagine any truly practical reason for covering a Porsche in gold, and the extra 40-odd pounds is bound to adversely impact the sports car’s performance, but there’s no accounting for what the heart wants.
We’ll admit that the look of this golden car is pulled off a bit better than we would have imagined, with cool inlays and even a set of fancy matched floor mats. The 911 may still not be the ultimate in automotive balling , but it’s at least in the running.

In Russia they drive in solid gold covered Porsche cars. More than 40 pounds of the pure gold was used while decorating this particular car.
