if I remove the air tube from the air intake box will that make my truck have better gas mileage? I have a 5.2 liter V 8. Right now I'll believe I am getting around 8 miles to the gallon. I read somewhere that if you remove the air tube from the air intake that goes to the air filter it will give you better gas mileage.
