Question about T-Mobile and switching sim cards?

Have a quick question as to putting my sim card in a different phone. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and I'm wondering if I were to buy a Samsung Galaxy S4 off of eBay (or elsewhere), would I simply be able to take my sim card out of my Note 2, and put it in the S4, and have no problems? I wouldn't need to call T-Mobile to get the sim card re-activated or anything, right? And I would retain all of my current features, and my current service?

Yes no problems as long as it is a T Mobile S4 or an unlocked AT&T.

You can just move the SIM card, no calls are need, nothing will change. You can just use your replacement phone as normal, as long as it is a t-mobile compatible or unlocked gsm phone.
