STORY: The fireworks show from Auckland's 328-metre tall Sky Tower returned after the cancellation of last year's fireworks due to concerns over the coronavirus Omicron variant.The display lasted five minutes with 500 kilograms of pyrotechnics launched from the tower with the Auckland Harbour Bridge also illuminated.Revellers watched on as brightly coloured single star comets and multiple fireworks shot into the night sky.
