carefully)? I have Windows 7 Ultimate & the problem which arises is with my DVD-RW..
What happens is that whenever I Insert a DVD or CD, it never reads it. The green light blinks 4 times and then it stops. So then I tried to Click on the :"DVD RW Drive(D)": but what happens is that, the DVD tray ejects out and then nothing happens.
When I go to DVD RW Frive(D) Properties, then I get the following options:-
Device Type - DVD/CD-ROM drives
Manufacturer - (Standard CD-ROM drives)
Location - Location 0 (Channel 1, Target 0, Lun 0)
My dvd rw drive is named
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS50 ATA Device
Note- I recently stored defaults in my PC by removing the CMOS battery..
Could it be the result of this problem??
Has my DVD-RW changed only to DVD-RW instead of Reader(CD & DVD)? Because it used to read al sorts of DVD but now it is not. Only there is an option of DVD Write( But it also does not works even I insert a BLANK DVD OR CD)
