My cichlid layed her eggs - should I introduce a male to the tank?

She is currently carrying her unfertilized brood in her mouth and I would love for my fish of 2 years to have babies :) I actually just found out she's a girl as well after witnessing her lay eggs and put them in her mouth! Pretty cool stuff!

Should I go and buy a male? Or would he just stress her out and end up fighting and possibly killing the other? I have another empty tank to move the male to in case things get hostile.

Should I give it a try? I've had fish for years and would love the chance! She's a pale yellow with black on the fins on her back. She's a very social fish and would be a caring, yet aggressive mom!

is cool to watch..

the eggs are not fertile without a male..she will probably end up swallowing them.
Drop a male in her tank.
Mine eat them after awhile..I have 5 pairs of Parrot/ midas cichlids.
