I'm getting a first car soon and it's either between a
2008 Mercedes C300
2006 Lexus IS250
2006 BMW 328i
The Mercedes and Lexus are both entry level luxury cars.
I see the BMW as a sports car, Lexus as a luxury car, and Mercedes as a mix of both.
I've been looking at the reviews for all three cars for months now. Everyone seems biased to what they own.
One thing for sure is that many more people claim that BMW has the most overall cost.
Here's my case, I'm going to be driving it 30-40 miles a day (to/from college and work).
Which is 11K to 14K a year.
I am not concerned with the the maintenance cost (break fluid, oild change, etc.) because my mom has a Lexus and we go on time for everything such and oil changes and all regular things needed on all cars. We've NEVER had a problem with the Lexus.
What my question is which car will break down the most even if maintained right??
I'm not talking about oil changes and all that; I'm concerned about the engine going out, car not starting, transmission, and bigger problems of that sort that cost more.
