Lg Intuition scanning media files never stops?

I have an lg intuition and every time i boot it up it scans media files and never stops. I cant access my photos or take pictures. I have called verizon and they helped me factory reset. I lost everything because backup did not work and now IT IS STILL SCANNING MEDIA FILES. i deleted everything for nothing. Please someone help me. I cant find anyone with the same problem.

I found this for your phone problem. It seems its a bad glitch because of an update the device performed. read it up here-

It would be my idea to see if you can "roll back" the software on your phone to before the bad update.

google makes the OS for your device.
LG does make the updates so their tech support wont help you.
