My car drives fine otherwise, but when I get up to 55 on a bumpy highway, suddenly the evenly spaced bumps on the road get to the car and the car shudders like I'm driving over really big washboard. At a higher speed, this is scary. I pull over to the side of the road, and the shaking stops, and I can pull out with no problems.
Is it shocks? Bearings? Steering? What kind of specialist should I take it to to get it looked at? Get an alignment? Go to a random mechanic?
