My question isn't for school-related purposes. I would like to know if there are any programs out there that can help someone in America to get exchanged over to Japan - but not while in high school. As an adult, since... well, I'll be 18 in a few months.
What I meant was... exchanged to live with a host family? Unless no one can find anything on that...
There's also the possibility of me becoming an English teacher... so helping me with links/information on that would be helpful too.

... Maybe a little help with finding out anything for people looking to go to a language college there to better their Japanese. I only started learning the language so naturally it still sucks... but if there were a way to learn Japanese in a college in Japan while living with a host family, it'd be pretty neat to know information on it.
