Is this a good boat towing vehicle?

Would a Dodge Dakota (early 2000s and up), be able to pull my 19 foot boat?
Boat and trailer is about 3500 pounds.
The truck is a V6.

Okay. So, just a F-150/250. Dodge Ram 1500/2500. Would be the best bet to look for?

by the time you add gear and people gas ond oil and all the other stuff that goes with it you will be well over 4000 lbs you need a small v8 a v6 can not pull itself up a hill and you expwct it to tow 2 tons of dead weight as well? I dont think so buy a truck thats made for towing otherwise you just wear out a truck that is too light duty for the job.
