Alternative? This is based on what I've heard though I'm halfheartedly convinced and that's because most articles I found tackled Classical and Popular musics differences. Also, they said that Alternative music came out, basically to counter Popular music, which is why they say that when music is not popular, it's alternative. Right now, I'm still confused. Can anyone clarify this for me? And please emphasize the correct divisions of music genres. Thanks in advance.
