Is 17,000 miles on a sport bike to much?

Im buying a used ninja 250 and it sounds fine and has no bad marks other than a muffler scratch. Is 17,000 miles to much to buy.

If it was well maintained it should be good to use for a long while still. Lots of people get 40,000 on their bikes without much difficulty. Get a bike mechanic to check it out if you are concerned, a $50 inspection can save you a world of hurt.

As long as the bike is in good condition, 17,000 miles is not a bad thing, but a 250cc motorcycle with that many miles is likely to have had several owners. Make sure the guy selling the bike has his name on the title (Legal owner) and the title and registration is valid before you hand over your money.
