iPhone 5 water damage! Help please!?

I dropped my iPhone 5 in the toilet.. I turned it off and threw it in some rice for 4 hours. When I turned it back on the apple logo remained on my screen along with like a green-ish stripe... I turned it back on and put it back in the rice and will keep it there overnight. But does anyone know if this will go away or is there something I can do to help it. PLEASE AND THANK YOU

you could have simply googled this and found a solution, but since im nice.....

buy a box of un-cooked white rice, pour the rice into a larger plastic baggie, fill it up full of the rice, and stick your phone in there for 2 weeks, DO NOT EVER TURN IT ON! and leave it in there for 12 days, the rice will pull out the moisture from your phone.

Let it sit in rice for a few days (Oh my god, a few days?!)
The rice will soak up the water 1-2 days and if the line is still there, hopefully you have a warranty on your iphone

Some retails have water damage repair kits (which is mostly like putting it on rice) .

Hopefully the warranty can fix it some how.

I bought a lifeguard jsut for that dont want to drop my $600 phone on the toilet... (it happened to my psp o na glass of juice)
