iphone 3gs was dropped in toilet, still works but touch screen is not working,

can't slide to unlock? My co-worker dropped her iphone 3gs in the toilet. She did the most logical thing and went out and got another one. She said I could have the iphone she dropped in the toilet. The phone will turn on and go to the main screen but the touch screen doesn't work and therefore I can't slide to unlock. I've looked for the red liquid indicators and I believe I can see the one for the docking port but the one for the headphone jack I do not see.

Is this a simple fix or can it be fixed?

There no tellin. Take it to your nearest apple store, they would know better than anyone else

I would either take it back to an Apple store, or call them up. Or go into the nearest AT&T store and see if they can help you. If it's under warrantee/insurance, they will just swap out the phone for a brand new phone.
