internet-facebook adding your pic to your main profile?

hello,

I just wanted to know unlike myspace where it tell you to upload photo of yourself so people can see how you look, facebook doesnt have area where it says, "upload photo of yourself"....or something like that.

Please help me locate where i can load a pohto of myself. i added photos of family & friends.
