i just bought a new computer with windows vista, i just got roadrunner cable internet, the cable companys tech guy was at my house for 3 hours trying to figure out why my computer wasnt connecting to the internet, the cable connection is good, it works with my laptop but not the desktop, is there something in vista that would keep internet explorer from loading any webpages or instant messenger programs that could have been overlooked?
