If I don't have a blue ray CD player in my computer can i still watch downloaded...

...blue ray movies? I'm running a Sony VAIO but it cant read blue ray cd's so if i downloaded a blue ray movie would i be able to watch it?
 
Yes you would, assuming you have sottware that can play a file of that type (which shouldn't be a problem these days)

Blu-ray movies are about 25 gb, though. It would take you a long while to download one!
 
Yes. Because when you download a movie, it's already been converted to a format that will play from the hard drive - so it doesn't matter if your computer has a CD, DVD, Blu-Ray or no optical drive at all. But there are several different formats for video files, and sometimes your computer needs to have a the right codec software installed first. So if it won't play after you download it, try installing the free K-Lite codec pack.
