it had a head kinda like a turtle or snake but much bigger and a round black body kinda liek a otter 3-5 feet long its tail was same width as its body and it was flat and horizontal 8-12 inches wide when i approached it it dove straight down i didnt see any feet maybe it had some tucked under his body like a gator. at a distance i thought it was a gator but as it came closer there was no way it was. i was fishin right outside of franklinton in the bogue chitto river the water is very high right now and very dirty
