Im just pondering the idea. I looked at forums online, and they all say buy a western HTS half ton plow and that they are designed to be used on a half ton pickup. I have a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L V8 Z71. Obviously 2 wheel drive but I have the option of 4 wheel drive...Hi or Low
1) Will plowing ruin my suspension?
2) Will plowing ruin my transmission?
3) Can my truck handle a plow that was "designed for half ton trucks"?
4) When/if I do plow, should I use 4HI or 4LOW?
*Dont know if it makes a difference, but I have the manual lever for 4 wheel drive, not the buttons.
