how to recover a stolen iphone without mobile me?

I know.. im totally f*cked. no mobile me. probably no gps. but just to lighten the mood, is there anyway that anyone knows of that i could possibly find my phone? im up for anything. concidering i dont want to pay 400$ for a new one.
