My friend has a charge for possession of cocaine and marijuana from last June (2011). When she went to her court date, her car broke down and they couldn't make the court case. So most likely she might have an FTA(Failure to appear) charge as well. She was also pregnant and 9 months later (around now) she hasn't been looked for, she's given her id to police and they didn't arrest her. We can't find a warrant for her on any background site (her name doesn't even pop up for being wanted.) But she will be turning herself in in a few weeks. Is there any way that they might have dropped the charges or anything? Her name has been ran through the system before and she's been living at the same address for years. And the most important question is if she does have to wait for a court case, how long do you think she can be in there because she can't be bonded out. And after the decision, what's an estimated jail sentence? Please help!
